Confero 2 Jailbreak Tweak For iOS 10 Released, Here Are The Details

The influx of tweaks and packages updated with iOS 10 compatibility continues. This time around it’s the turn of the AtomDevTeam with the release of Confero 2, an iOS 10 compatible version of the original Confero package released back in early 2015.

Due to the work involved in producing an iOS 10 compatible version – or possibly wanting to capitalize on new purchases rather than existing owner updates – the team has released Confero 2 as an entirely new package in Cydia.

In essence, Confero is a handy little package designed to help users better handle apps which have active notifications assigned to them, and therefore have badges sitting against the app icon.

It’s particularly useful for those iPhone owners who may have a ton of apps installed across multiple Home screens. Rather than having to rely on seeing an incoming notification, or scroll through multiple pages of apps to try and find app icons with notification badges, Confero exposes all of those apps in a beautiful app tray with a single tap from the Confero icon in the Status Bar.

The fact that it is invoked via the Status Bar also means that Confero’s functionality is available and accessible wherever the Status Bar is visible. This can be on the Lock screen, Home screen, or even within a running app. In addition to instantly showing apps with active notifications all grouped together in one place, Confero also offers gesture-based functionality. As an example, users are able to swipe up on an app to immediately clear all of the notifications. Conversely, swiping down on the app will invoke its notifications with additional options, such as open, delete, or 3D Touch.

The Confero 2 package also comes with an internal light or dark mode, so if the speculated Dark Mode does ship with future versions of iOS then it should blend in perfectly.

As you would expect from a commercial package of this nature, there’s also a fairly comprehensive configuration panel within the tweak allowing users to customize the experience to their own needs and desires.

Those who loved the previous version of Confero will definitely want to grab this, and those who are entirely new to the experience, but are looking for something of this nature, this is probably the best solution out there. Confero 2 can be grabbed for $1.99 from the BigBoss repository in Cydia.
