Apple is celebrating Star Wars Day - May the 4th - and in doing so is offering Mac and iOS users a chance to grab a number of apps, including in-app purchase content at discounted prices. The "May The 4th Be With You" initiative contains apps and content from developers such as Disney, Konami, and more.

Apple Pay is gradually expanding its reach, and many of the big-name retailers are already on board. Best Buy is doing its bit to get with the times by adding in-app support for Apple's new transaction scheme today, and per the words of Tim Cook, the electronics retail giant will begin accepting Apple Pay later on this year.

Facebook's Messenger app offers an impressive inventory of different tools and features, and, even compared with longer-serving rivals, caters to most users' requirements with aplomb. However, one glaring shortcoming is that of video chat - specifically the lack thereof - and with millions of clips shared on the Menlo Park firm's social network, it seems almost criminal that something so basic remains missing from Messenger. Still, an official announcement today has confirmed that video calling will soon be included among Messenger's features, with iOS and Android users across 18 different nations benefiting initially.
