Designer Anthony De Rosa of ADR Studio is back, this time with a design which has been inspired by the recently “lost/stolen” real next-gen iPhone which was reviewed and ripped apart by the folks at Gizmodo. Anthony explains his design as follows.
Most of you must have heard about the thunderst0rm team who claims to have got an exploit+solution to jailbreak and unlock all device (iPhone, iPod and iPad) on iPhone 3.1.3 with 05.12.01 baseband. Today, they have posted a new video which shows the final test build in action. According to them, if everything goes fine, they will release the program Tomorrow.
Well yes, you read that right ! Hackers have finally managed to run a “debug” version of Android OS on the iPhone. Almost everything is said to be working, as can also be seen in the video attached below.
Apple has published a new article which warns iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users against unauthorized modification of iPhone OS which can result in instability, disruption of services and other issues. This is how Apple explains it in the article.
iPhone OS 4 Beta 2 was pushed to developers yesterday and it mainly brought API improvements, increased performance and bug fixes. Apart from this, Apple has also added a new faster and smoother animation for switching between apps during multitasking. This carousel transition rotates apps in a wheel-like form. Before handing over the handset back to Apple, Gizmodo had a full dissection of the next-gen iPhone. They found out that it had larger battery – around 19% than that of iPhone 3GS, processor (whether A4 chip or not) couldn't be verified as the logic board was completely sealed by Apple, it had tons of screws and every component was shrunken down to accommodate the larger battery which now takes around half of the inside.

We all saw this coming didn't we? Apple apparently has sent an official letter to Gawker Media – the company which runs Gizmodo blog, requesting them to return their “secret” handset. The letter was signed by Bruce Sewell, the Senior Vice President & General Counsel of Apple Inc and can be seen as attached below.
The next-generation iPhone is expected to be unveiled in June at WWDC 2010 which will be held at Mascone Center in San Francisco. The real deal as we informed you earlier, has already been leaked in the wild.
If you have ever owned or use an HTC phone like HTC HD2 or HTC Desire with HTC Sense, you will know how great a job HTC has done in tightly integrating the phone with social networks like Facebook and Twitter. This is something that iPhone users have been missing even with three major iterations of the OS. But with iPhone OS 4, Apple is likely to change this all.
