Purported Next iPhone’s Mini Dock Connector Finally Gets Pictured, Reveals 8 Pins

Paul Morris·August 11, 2012
We are fast approaching the business end of Apple's sixth-generation iPhone release schedule, and if sources and intuition proves to be serving us correctly, then we should be getting our first official glimpse of the new piece of Apple hardware on September 12th. Apple is yet to officially come out and confirm that the event is happening, but a number of indicators seem to have given the game away with the extremely familiar Moscone Center in San Francisco looking likely to be the chosen venue.

Internal Documents Reveal Samsung’s Tablets No Competition To iPad

Ben Reid·August 11, 2012
There are many companies embattled in a quest to gain the largest market share in both the tablet and smartphone markets, and the recent court cases between Apple and Samsung has offered us a strong indication as to the inner workings of the firms locked in the fight for supremacy. Internal documents have been leaked to the San Jose case revealing much about the practices of both companies, while some of the big cheeses of both electronic outfits have leapt from obscurity to make their feelings known.

Here’s What Native iOS Apps Would Look Like Running On The New Taller iPhone Display [IMAGES]

Paul Morris·August 10, 2012
There has been a lot of talk recently about the specifications of the new iPhone that is expected to be announced during a media event next month. Although we haven’t had any official confirmation from Apple as of yet, those who appear to be in the know are staying true to the September 12th announcement date. We are obviously all keen to officially feast our eyes on the sixth-generation device, but the most talked about and contested amendment to the device has to be the inclusion of a taller display.

This Gorgeous Next iPhone 3D Render Is Based Solely On Leaked Parts And Reports [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·August 10, 2012
Apple is extremely lucky to have such a cloud of interest surrounding their every move, including unprecedented interest in every hardware or software release which they introduce to the world. Every single generation of the iPhone has been more popular than the last one, with each new model doing a fantastic job of retaining customer loyalty while also managing to appeal to those who are deciding which smartphone route to go down for their next purchase. If the leaked images and reported design of the next iPhone are indeed accurate, then I won’t hesitate in saying that Apple are once again onto another winner.

iOS 6 Passbook App Shown Off In A Real-World Scenario, Looks Impressive [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·August 10, 2012
When Tim Cook and his cohorts took to the stage to introduce us to the next-generation of iOS, we were pretty much expecting most of the announcements which were rumored beforehand. However, as the demonstration of iOS 6 continued, there was a couple of little additions that took us by surprise and had managed to slip through the rumor net which led up to the event. One of those surprises came in the form of Passbook, a new iOS stock app which offers a new and efficient way for users to store tickets, coupons, gift cards and vouchers in one central place for easy access later on.

Unopened And Sealed First-Gen iPhone Hits eBay For A Cool $10,000

Paul Morris·August 9, 2012
As I'm sitting here writing this with my iPhone 4S sitting by my side, it's hard to get my head around the fact that in approximately four weeks time we will be welcoming the sixth-generation iPhone into the world. As somebody who has owned every iPhone since the original one which came out in 2007, it really doesn't seem like it has been over five years since Apple introduced their first smartphone that would ultimately end up revolutionizing an entire industry and make way for the introduction of another game changer, the iPad.

OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1 To Be Seeded To Mac Devs And AppleSeed Users In The Next Few Days

Paul Morris·August 9, 2012
OS X Mountain Lion has been with us for long enough, and users can form their own opinions on Apple's latest cutting edge operating system and certainly decide themselves if they feel it is an improvement over OS X Lion, or even the latest version of Snow Leopard if they refrained from upgrading to Lion. Judging by the fact that Mountain Lion notched up over three million downloads in twenty four hours and the Mac App Store is littered with positive reviews, it would seem that the majority have greeted OS X 10.8 with positivity.

More Purported Images Of New iPhone Surfaces, Shows Off Smaller MagSafe-Like Dock Connector

Paul Morris·August 9, 2012
The headlines and reports that have been circulating through various media outlets in the last few months regarding the next-generation iPhone have been enough to make even the most hardcore Apple fan end up in a state of confusion. There's no doubt about the fact that we are all pretty excited about what Apple is about to bring to the table, but the anticipation and waiting game that is associated with a Cupertino based release always manages to get our inquisitive minds ticking over. The clock is ticking on the countdown until September 12th, but just what should we expect from the new iPhone?

Samsung Denies All Charges That It Copies Apple Products On Conan O’Brien Show [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·August 8, 2012
The San Jose leg of the ongoing, worldwide battle between Apple and Samsung is really heating up, with pivotal members of both companies now taking the stand and offering their take on proceedings. For those of you who've been living in a cave for the past few months, Apple is claiming up to $2.5 billion in damages from Samsung regarding a wide range of alleged patent infringements, mostly circulated around the design of the Korean outfit's Galaxy design and form factor.

New iPad TV Ad ‘All On iPad’ Is All About AirPlay, Twitter And More [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·August 8, 2012
If you take away the fantastic customer service which I have always received, the wonderful quality and usability of their products, and the sense of fairy tale that has surrounded the company over the last few years, the one thing that I have always loved about Apple is their ability to produce wonderfully simplistic commercials that show off their products in the best light. Apple has a pretty decent history when it comes to advertising campaigns, with their 'Crazy Ones' commercial holding an iconic status around the world.
