We've been seeing images of what are claimed to be the two new iPhone 6 models for a while now, and some have even cropped up in videos. What has been severely lacking though, until now, is a video comparing both the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 to existing devices made by other manufacturers. YouTube channel TechSmartt has now changed that by publishing a seven-minute video in which we see the unannounced iPhones compared to other iOS products as well as, most interestingly, a Galaxy Note 3.
Although WWDC 2014 didn’t see any new hardware announcements, it doesn’t mean that the company hadn’t been working on anything. Apple has just rolled out an update to the Developer Preview of OS X Yosemite 10.10. The latest build of the forthcoming Mac software, which is slated for release later on in the fall, has been treated to an extensive list of bug fixes and general performance tweaks, details of which you may find after the break.
You can now download iOS 8 beta 2 as Apple has just starting rolling it out for registered devices. Among other things, this build includes performance fixes and general stability improvements. Having rolled out the first beta for iPhone users following the WWDC keynote earlier on this month, this follow-up doesn't offer a great deal more in terms of raw features, but given how rough and erratic that initial release was in comparison to the polished seamlessness we've accustomed ourselves to with iOS 7.1.x, it's a welcome bump that renders iOS 8 beta considerably more usable.
The iPhone 6 rumor mill is showing no signs of slowing down, and even though we're fairly sure that Apple is plotting two new iPhones with considerably larger displays than the current 4-inch panel of the iPhone 5s, it is now being offered that the resolution will clock in at a whopping 2560 x 1440.
Apple is in for a busy year, especially if all the devices it is rumored to have in the pipeline turn out to be real. One of those devices is the fabled iWatch, and it seems to be getting more and more real by the day.
Apple's iPhone 6 has been leaked dozens of times through mockups, and although we're fairly sure as to the device's eventual form factor, it's always difficult to establish what reported information is factual and what is perhaps a spin on the truth.

Here, we run through a selection of Siri tricks that you mightn’t have stumbled across before, and after checking out all of the tips, we’re pretty sure you’ll wind up using Siri a lot more than you currently do.
