Zayed Rehman·July 16, 2015
The all-new iPod touch 6 is definitely a remarkable device, given the significant upgrade Apple has packed into its iOS-based portable media player. The refreshed iPod touch was launched just a short while back, and luckily, some benchmark results have already dropped in detailing just how much of a punch it actually packs.

Joel Barron·July 16, 2015
During Apple’s WWDC keynote in June, the company mentioned that a public beta of OS X 10.11 El Capitan would be available in July. While El Capitan has been available for developers since its announcement at WWDC, Apple recently pushed out the public beta for non-developers to install on their Macs. We’ve been using it for a few days and here our top five favorite features in the latest version of OS X that is set to officially release in the fall.

Apple May Not Release iPad Air 3 This Year, Here’s Why

Paul Morris·July 16, 2015
2015 is expected to be an extremely busy time for Apple, especially for new hardware releases. In addition to introducing and revealing the new iPhone 6s in the fall, the Cupertino company is also expected to introduce a number of new iPad tablets before the year's end. If a new report coming out of Taiwan is to be believed then it looks like fans of Apple's 9.7-inch iPad could be left disappointed with suggestions that the iPad Air may not welcome in a third-generation device until 2016.

iPhone 6s Clone In New Color Option Unboxed On Video

Paul Morris·July 15, 2015
Speculation regarding Apple's upcoming iPhone 6s is starting to come through thick and fast. We now well and truly find ourselves in the middle of that exciting, and sometimes frustrating, period where new visual and technical specification leaks come out of the woodwork from those who claim to have "familiarity with the situation." We can already be fairly confident that Apple's iPhone 6s will come with Force Touch capabilities, as well as being offered in a new color option that has been described as either Rose Gold or Pink, so naturally, those Chinese clone manufacturers have jumped immediately onto the bandwagon and produced a $200 clone of the iPhone 6s complete with the speculated new color option.

Apple Watch Waterproofing Detailed

Zayed Rehman·July 15, 2015
One of the surprise aspects of the Apple Watch has turned out to be its rather unexpected water resistance, if not waterproofing capabilities. Apple has cautiously given its first wrist worn gadget an IPX7 water resistance rating and warns users against submerging the Watch completely in water. But as it turns out, Apple's wrist-slapped contraption goes well beyond that, at least as far as its physical aspects are concerned, and one developer is already exploring these possibilities for tracking water based activities.

Facebook Working On Siri Competitor Called ‘Moneypenny’

Paul Morris·July 14, 2015
As we have continued taking steps toward a future that well and truly embraces the "internet of things" it has become extremely evident that voice activated personal assistant apps and services are going to be here to stay. We've seen the progression of Google Now within Android Lollipop and recently witnessed Apple introduce a smarter, more Proactive Siri as part of its iOS 9 updates. Now, potentially due to the stability of the digital assistant arena, it's being reported that Facebook is set to take on Siri and Google Now with its own digital assistant software, codenamed "Moneypenny".

Apple’s iPhone Now Owns 92% Of All Smartphone Market Profits

Paul Morris·July 14, 2015
The smartphone market is a vastly competitive place to do business, and while Android may be reigning victorious when it comes to market share, that doesn't necessarily equate to profit for device manufacturers. A new report, which has emerged over the weekend by Canaccord Genuity, approximates that while Apple may only hold 20% of the total market share, it was actually responsible for banking 92% of the entire smartphone market's profits during the first quarter of 2015.
