Apple is strongly expected to announce a raft of new products this month, and one of them is set to be a new home hub device. Now, a new report claims that the device will be available in four specific colors.
MacRumors, citing a proven leaker known as “pdfu” on the X social network, says Apple will launch the home hub device in Silver, Space Gray, Starlight, and Rose Pink.

Notably, these are the same four colors that had already been discovered in code for the macOS 26.7 Release Candidate back in August.
The same X post also claims that the device will offer users the chance to create a Photo Face, with the setup screen matching the color of the device itself. A Photo Face is essentially a screensaver or wallpaper that features a dynamic collection of photos of specific people.
According to another report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the home hub device will feature a six-inch display that is square and will be available in both tabletop and wall-mounted options. The former will feature an iMac G4-like polished metal arm that connects the base to the display.
Apple’s Home device may come in four finishes: Silver, Space Gray, Starlight, and Rose Pink.
The Photo Face setup screen picks its preview art based on the hardware color the device reports.
The device’s housing may also show in setup screens once device assets are available.… https://t.co/8h4iF9OEsG pic.twitter.com/oRRTijUdkO

Details on how much the device will cost, and even its name, are unknown right now. Reports have suggested that Apple will announce the device alongside a new HomePod mini and refreshed Apple TV 4K later this month.
