During Jimmy Kimmel’s live show, Justin Long took his iPhone out to share an interesting SMS conversation that he has had, in the process showing Cydia on his iPhone’s homescreen. For those of you who don’t know, Justin Long is the guy who starred in Apple’s widely popular and successful “Get a Mac” series of commercials which aired between year 2006 to 2009.
If you haven't been living under a rock or something, you will probably know that it was Apple who first came up with this new innovative way of unlocking phone on a touch-screen with iPhone. The now “Slide to Unlock” screen that you probably see the most on your phone was one of the most “ooh aah” thing of 2007. Same goes for iPhone’s virtual keyboard which had this “letter pop-out” effect which no other phone at that time had.
In a surprising move, instead of taking on Nintendo DS line of portable gaming, Sony takes a shot at Apple and its iPhone / iOS gaming system by calling it “that isn't built for big boy games, that is built for texting your grandma and calling your girl”. Seriously Sony? you are comparing a full-fledged portable gaming console to a multi-functional smartphone? Something is surely not right at Sony, they are probably thinking that they have missed their opportunity at cell phone gaming market with a possible PlayStation Phone. And so now they want us to believe that paying for old PSP collection at $10 is better than paying for App Store games on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
The guy behind The MacBook Air Project site has managed to fit a fully working Mac (MacBook Air to be more precise) under a combination of Apple Wireless Keyboard and the newly released Magic Trackpad. It is one single piece which you can connect to any monitor to enjoy full Mac OS X experience. Amazing isn't it? It features: 1.6 Ghz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of RAM, and 80GB of HDD. He did this because he believed that it “will be used much beyond internet / email….maybe as an Apple TV replacement”.

Well it looks like Steve Jobs and Co are in full mood to build their next-gen hardware using Liquidmetal Technologies, a California based company from which they recently acquired exclusive rights to build products made of Liquid Metal alloy.

Here’s a story of a 16-year-old kid named Christian Owens who managed to make a million dollars following the footsteps of his mentor, the one and only, Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs.
Yesterday, Apple released the iOS 4.0.2 for iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, iPod touch 3G / 2G and iOS 3.2.2 for iPad to fix the PDF exploit which was used by JailbreakMe.com. Since the nature of exploit was highly vulnerable, Apple recommended everyone to update to this new firmware in order to secure all iOS based devices. This of course also meant that jailbreak and unlock for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad and iPod touch 3G on iOS 4.0.2 / 3.2.2 will not be possible for these mentioned devices.
iOS 3.2.2 for iPad WiFi and iPad 3G is out! This update fixes the vulnerability in iOS which allows hackers to execute malicious code via PDF exploit in Safari. JailbreakMe used the same exploit to jailbreak all iPhones, iPod touches and iPads. Since this new update patches the exploit used by JailbreakMe, you wont be able to jailbreak your iPad until a new jailbreak tool is available.
Ok guys I just tested it on an old iPhone 3G lying around and can confirm that this works! Now that Apple has released iOS 4.0.2 to patch the PDF exploit, JailbreakMe which was previously used to jailbreak iOS 4.0.1 on iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, iPod touch 3G / 2G and iPad is now incompatible with iOS 4.0.2. But if you have iPhone 3G (which doesn’t rely on an unlock) or an iPod touch 2G (non-MC model) lying around, you can jailbreak it using the existing version of Redsn0w. Simply follow the step by step guide posted below to jailbreak the mentioned devices on iOS 4.0.2 using Redsn0w.
