Bloomberg Outlines Apple’s Fall Lineup Including iPhone 12, Apple Watch Series 6, iPad Air, AirPods Studio, And More

We’re headed into that period of the year where Apple is expected to announce all kinds of things, with iPhones being the big news. We know a ton about the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro already and now Bloomberg has shared more details about the fall lineup as a whole.

Starting with the iPhones, everything is as we’ve been expecting.

Squared edges similar to the current iPad Pro will be the order of the day here, with LiDAR Scanners coming to at least one of the new iPhones – likely the iPhone 12 Pro Max. 5G will be present, but Bloomberg has been told that it’s far from the big new feature here.

Alongside new iPhones, Apple is also set to announce a new iPad Air that will be similar to the 11-inch iPad Pro. We’ve seen leaks based on exactly that design of late, with a 10.8-inch screen and Touch ID built into the power button.

Other products likely to be announced include multiple Apple Watches. The Apple Watch Series 6 is a given at this point, with Bloomberg also saying a new budget Apple Watch is in the works that will replace the Apple Watch Series 3 in the lineup. That would be the first time Apple has announced two Apple Watches rather than pushing an older model down the lineup.

Other rumored products include new over-ear AirPods Studio as well as a new, smaller HomePod. Both have been rumored already, with Bloomberg suggesting they’re coming soon. An Apple TV refresh is also in the works, but we’re told that might not happen until next year.

Assuming all of this is accurate, we’re still waiting for confirmation on when all of these things will be announced. We know that the new iPhones won’t ship in September, but they might be announced. Right now, it’s anyone’s guess, however.
