First grand slam tournament of the season – the 2010 Australian Open Tennis Championship is about to begin. The tournament which starts on 18th January will last for 14 days till 31st January 2010. Online streaming sites such as UStream, Justin.tv and the official Australian Open website will be broadcasting the event LIVE. You can watch the top tennis players in the World including 15 times grand slam champion Roger Federer, as they all compete for one of the biggest prized crown of the year.

Sources close to KT – the exclusive iPhone provider in South Korea has hinted towards a possibility that Apple may launch its next generation iPhone 4G as early as April 2010. Talks are said to be already under way over sales volume of the device in question. The Korea Times, who claims to have heard some of it says that KT could be distributing the next-gen iPhone to corporate clients as a “litmus test” in April, and to the local distributors in June.
Microsoft has released a new version of Windows Live for Windows phones running Windows Mobile Professional and Standard operating systems. This new version 10.7.0061.0500.2000 brings lots of new changes which includes new and improved UI which is finger friendly, Bing search bar, complete integration of Windows Live Home and lots more. I have installed it on my HTC HD2 and so far the experience has been quite satisfying.
In a recent interview given to an analyst at CES 2010, Robbie Bach, the President of Entertainment & Devices Division at Microsoft has given out an insight on what can we expect from the much awaited Windows Mobile 7. From the looks of it, it seems like Windows Mobile is finally going to get a complete makeover to make it more consumer oriented, user friendly and modern(ish). It wont act, look or feel anything like the current versions of Windows Mobile that we known as of today.

For those of you who don't know, Winterboard is a free app available in Cydia which enables you to customize the appearance of your jailbroken iPhone in almost anyway you like.
In just under a week of official release, Nexus One has already got custom cooked ROMs waiting to be flashed on the said handset. Paul over at the Modaco forums has released one of the first custom ROM for Nexus One which packs a custom kernel, and includes busybox, nano 2.09, parted and sqlite tools, Wireless Tethering option (Yay!), titanium backup and more.
We informed you about the Google Nexus One when it was rooted even before the official launch. And now with just under a week of release, Nexus One has been hacked already to enable both wireless and wired (via usb) tethering option in Android 2.1. Folks over at the XDA forums have released some add-ons, which needs to be flashed over the top of the existing Android 2.1 firmware to get it to work.
Sn0wbreeze like blackra1n, redsn0w and PwnageTool is yet another jailbreaking tool for iPhone and iPod touch which can be used to create custom .ipsw files. But unlike the PwnageTool, Sn0wbreeze is fully compatible to work with Windows 7/Vista and XP machines. Just like the Motorola Droid on Verizon, US version of Nexus One which was launched by Google earlier this week didn't ship with multitouch capabilities in web browser or any of the apps even though the hardware and Android 2.1 OS was fully capable of it. This surely was a set back considering the fact that iPhone can do it since 2007. But now according to this report from Engadget, a phone passed on to the German site Heise has all the multitouch goodness like pinch-to-zoom enabled in the web browser.
The sequel to the already popular Sense UI has been ported over to the oldest and the most customizable Android based device i.e. HTC Dream / T-Mobile G1. For those of you who don't know, HTC Sense UI is a feature experience of many HTC Android based phones like HTC Hero and Droid Eris.
