If we can manage to pull our eyes and attention away from the ongoing legal battle that is currently being disputed between Apple and Samsung, then it is worth noting that both companies have some new and exciting going on behind the scenes. Apple Experimented With A Curved Glass iPhone But Decided Against It Due To High Manufacturing Costs
Although we don't believe that the current Apple versus Samsung trial is a good thing for the technology world, it certainly does make up for an interesting watch from the outside and allows us to get an insight into the inner workings and design strategies of both companies. Certain statements and depositions from those giving evidence in the case are providing us with what would otherwise be a pretty much impossible look into the early design decisions that centered around the development of the iPhone.
Apple and Samsung may be currently locked in a rather ugly trial centered around various alleged patent and design infringements, but that doesn't mean the owners of either company’s products needs to needlessly suffer. Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 is one of the products that finds itself right in the middle of the ongoing dispute between the two technology giants, but even in the midst of all the legal wrangling, it still manages to find itself receiving a nice new software update which brings new and improved Android features.
We should all know by now that Apple and Samsung are locked in a trial centered around a patent infringement case that has been bubbling away for the better part of the last eighteen months. With various allegations being made from either side, the dispute is primarily focused on the alleged patent and design infringements, with Apple said to be looking for $2 billion in compensation from the Korean electronics giants. As is usually the case with trials that center around this kind of thing, nothing is ever straight forward with Samsung vehemently disputing the claims and making their own accusations aimed at Apple.
