iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak App ‘Flying JB’ Gets Video Demo, Source Code Available To Download

One Chinese dev has demonstrated a new iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak called "Flying JB". The video demonstration shows the Flying JB app being executed to successfully jailbreak a 32-bit iPhone running iOS 9.2.1. The jailbreak itself is made possible and based entirely on an extremely powerful 15-year old kernel HeapOverFlow vulnerability - inpuTbag - that exists within the particular firmware version that's being liberated in the video.

Microsoft Just Bought LinkedIn For A Whopping $26.2 Billion

It seems that Microsoft clearly hasn't been put off by previous negative experiences when acquiring companies for multi-billion dollar deals. The company is today announcing that it is in talks to acquire professional networking site and service LinkedIn for a whopping $26.2 billion. The acquisition will be an all-cash purchase, meaning that Microsoft will hand over $26 billion in pure cash rather than cash plus shares, which will see each of LinkedIn's shares valued at $196 each.
