This iOS 7 Concept Gives Users The Option To Toggle Flat Interface On Or Off [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·May 17, 2013
Much has been made of Apple's intentions to bring a flatter user interface to iOS with the forthcoming seventh version, but opinion remains divided on whether skeuomorphism is actually all that bad after all. The two-sidedness of the debate created factions within Apple itself, with ex-iOS SVP Scott Forstall seemingly all for the replication of realistic materials while others, like lead hardware designer Jony Ive, were less enthused by the look. Taking into consideration the polarizing effect, concept maker Ran Avni has taken an interesting approach by suggesting a system which would effectually allow users to flit between flat graphics and the rather familiar look of iOS hitherto. Check it out after the break!

Ben Reid·May 17, 2013
When Google took to the stage yesterday in its mammoth 3+ hour I/O keynote speech, many presumed Android 4.3 was going to be one of the main topics of conversation. Unfortunately, there was no mention of the forthcoming update to the Google mobile OS, but reports today suggest that it is, at least, heading our way in the near future, and will feature, among other things, support for Bluetooth Smart.

New iPhone 5S Parts Leak In Super High Quality [IMAGES]

Ben Reid·May 17, 2013
One annoying fact of most early hardware leaks, is that those obtaining these rare artifacts seem eagle-eyed clued-up enough to discover them in the first place, but struggle to source a respectable camera to take a decent shot before distributing images to eager tech fiends across the Web. This can certainly be said of many of the so-called iPhone 5S's internal hardware parts leaks hitherto, but today, we have come across some high quality images of which are being touted as components of the next-generation Apple smartphone.

Download iTunes 11.0.3 With Brand New MiniPlayer, Improved Songs View And More [Windows / Mac]

Ben Reid·May 17, 2013
The wait for the arrival of iTunes 11 was certainly extensive, and although we always knew it would be arriving at some point in 2012, we didn't perhaps foresee that we'd be waiting right until the very end of the year to sink our teeth into it. Still, in terms of major bugs and issues, the latest and greatest release has been relatively incident-free, and to continue in that vein, Apple has just released iTunes 11.0.3 with a couple of minor improvements.

Galaxy Note 3 Will Carry The Same Plastic Design And Aesthetics Of Galaxy S4 And S3 [Report]

Ben Reid·May 16, 2013
The consensus thus far has been, at least where the Galaxy Note III is concerned, that Samsung would break from its ongoing tradition of plastic outer shells and finally bring an aluminum (or similar) finish to match the high-end status of the handset. However, sources of SamMobile have suggested that the forthcoming device will use pretty much the same build as the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy S4.

The Frostbite 3 engine is heavily lauded as one of the most powerful and advanced of its kind, and with the technology being the driving force behind the supreme graphics performance of Battlefield 4, it looks like a variant of the engine will soon push the boundaries of mobile gaming experience even further.
