When it comes to charging your iPhone, you need a Lightning cable unless you’re planning on going wireless. There are plenty of third-party cables available at a reduced price compared to the Apple-branded ones but right now you don’t have to go third-party to save some money. Amazon is currently offering an Apple Lightning to USB cable for just $11.54.

That’s a saving of around 39% over the normal $19 asking price and makes these cables a great deal if you want to stick with official charging solutions.

This cable is identical to the one that comes in the box with your iPhone. That means that there’s a Lightning connector on one end and a standard USB-A connector on the other. The cable itself is good for charging your phone and syncing it via a computer if that’s something you’re in to as well. You can also use the cable with iPads and iPod touches that use the same Lightning connector although you’ll need to look elsewhere if you have one of those newfangled iPad Pro tablets.
