Apple’s Eddy Cue Is Helping Tom Brady’s New NFT Company

Apple executive Eddy Cue is reportedly serving as an advisor on a new company set up by NFL quarterback Tom Brady. The company, called Autograph, is a new NFT company backed by entrepreneur Richard Rosenblatt.

According to a CNN report, the company will see Brady and Rosenblatt serve as co-chairs with some other big names also involved in an advisory capacity.

Brady and entrepreneur Richard Rosenblatt will serve as co-chairs of Autograph. The company has also assembled a high-profile advisory team including Apple SVP Eddy Cue, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer, Live Nation Entertainment CEO Michael Rapino, DraftKings cofounders Jason Robins and Paul Liberman, and Dawn Ostroff, chief content and advertising business Officer at Spotify, among others.

NFTs, or non-fungible tokens are digital goods that are linked to a blockchain in a similar way to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

We recently saw the first tweet of Twitter found Jack Dorsey sell as an NFT for almost $3 million, for example. Autograph will deal in such things via live auctions, CNN reports.

The news that Apple’s Cue is helping out shouldn’t be all that surprising. He already sits on Ferrari’s board, for example, and other Apple executives serve similar capacities beyond Apple as well.
