Apple Support App Now Shows How Much Common Repairs Will Cost

Apple has updated the Apple Support app for iPhone and iPad to now include prices for some of the most common repairs that people are likely to require.

While the app did previously have some pricing explained further through the repair workflow, this is the first time such a price list has been made available up front.

The new update, which can be downloaded in the App Store now, includes pricing for common repairs but not all of them. For example, a replacement rear panel on an iPhone 13 Pro Max will set owners back $329. Other examples include a replacement display and battery swap-out.

There are more improvements in this updated Apple Support app including the usual array of bug fixes and performance improvements. However, it’s that pricing addition that is the standout addition here.

The Apple Support app is a great option for people who need assistance with their devices, whether that’s a software problem or something more physical. It’s also how they can reach out to Apple for support, too.
