Apple Starts Selling Certified Refurbished iPhone 7 And iPhone 7 Plus

Picking up a brand new iPhone is a great experience, right from walking into an Apple Store to getting home and pulling that protective plastic off of the screen.

Apple really has the unboxing experience down, but sometimes we can’t always run out and splash $999 on a brand new iPhone X. Sometimes pre-loved devices, or refurbished ones, are the way to go.

Up until recently, the iPhone 7 was not an option for those looking for a pre-owned iPhone and who wanted to buy from Apple. That is no longer the case, with refurbished iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus handsets now available to buy officially and directly from Apple.

Apple now offers refurbished iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus handsets via its online store. At the time of writing, it would appear that the United States is the only country stocking refurbished iPhone 7 and 7 Plus handsets, but that will surely change in time. The iPhone 7 is available in all colorways, while the iPhone 7 Plus is listed as only being available in three colors and in 32GB and 128GB guises.

As always, Apple certifies that all refurbished iPhones include brand new batteries and come with a one year warranty as standard.

“We test and certify all Apple refurbished products and include a 1-year warranty.

All refurbished iPhone models also include a brand new battery, new outer shell and a new white box.

Supply is limited and availability is guaranteed once we receive your full payment.”

Price-wise, the most costly refurbished iPhone 7 listed at the time of writing this was the 256GB model at $679, which equates to $70 off of the price of a new handset. That price differential looks to be standard across the range, so while not a huge saving, it is most definitely worth having in our eyes.
