You can now download iOS 15.3 RC IPSW links and OTA update for your iPhone or iPad device. Here are the details on this.

Apple has today released a new build of iOS 15.2 which brings us the first release candidate. The update is now available for developers to download as is a raft of other updates.

Apple has not only made iOS 15.3 available but also new builds of iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS, too.

The following build numbers are now the latest ones and we can expect them all to be the release candidate versions.

  • iPadOS 15.3 beta RC (Build: 19D49)
  • watchOS 8.4 beta RC (Build: 19S546)
  • tvOS 15.3 beta RC (Build: 19K545)
  • macOS Big Sur 11.6.3 RC (Build: 20G413)

All of these updates can be downloaded via the usual Software Update mechanism on their respective hardware and we can expect the final releases to be made available to the world within weeks — assuming no new issues are discovered.

Unfortunately it doesn’t appear that any big new features are included in any of these releases, and there will be no debut of the Universal Control feature that was first announced so long ago — June 2021, during the WWDC event to be exact. When that will be available, nobody knows.

If you’re a developer we suggest downloading these new updates now. Those on the public beta programs will likely see them become available within the next day or two assuming no showstopping bugs are found.
