Anker’s Latest PowerHouse 100 Portable Battery Charger Can Fully Recharge 2019 MacBook Pro

Anker has taken advantage of the ongoing CES 2020 event to announce a new portable battery that can provide enough power to charge pretty much anything.  Including Apple’s 2019 MacBook Pro.

The battery itself runs at 27,000mAh and that’s enough to fully charge the aforementioned MacBook Pro from dead.

Recharging the PowerHouse 100 itself is a case of plugging it into USB-C and while it might take a while, it’ll be absolutely worth it.

Anker also says that the PowerHouse 100 is perfectly fine to take onto an airplane, unlike larger devices, and it supports universal compatibility which should mean that you can fast-charge whatever you want with this thing. There’s Anker’s MultiProtect technology built-in, too. So you needn’t concern yourself with things like surges and shorts.

If you’re looking for a way to charge your new MacBook Pro, this is definitely something to consider. Once you can buy it, of course.

All of this comes at a price, though. Anker says that we can expect this thing to ship in April of this year, with a retail price of anywhere between $159.99 and $174.99. We’ll be keeping our eyes out for more information on exactly when the PowerHouse 100 will go on sale. And how much we’ll need to hand over to get our hands on one as well.
