2021 iPhone Rumored To Be Called iPhone 13 Despite Previous Reports To The Contrary

Apple’s upcoming 2021 iPhones will be called iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max according to a new report. That despite previous reports suggesting Apple may ditch the iPhone 13 name and go with iPhone 12s instead.

According to a new report by the Economic Daily News, Apple’s iPhones will jump from 12 to 13, despite concerns that the number 13 could be problematic for superstitious and phobia reasons.

According to the supply chain, this year’s new ‌iPhone‌ will return to the situation announced in September of the previous year. The foundry will start shipping in the third quarter, and the peak of the pull will fall in the fourth quarter. Apple will launch four new models, namely the 6.7-inch ‌iPhone 13‌. Pro Max, 6.1-inch ‌iPhone 13‌ Pro, and 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch models, also named ‌iPhone 13‌.

Previous rumors had suggested that Apple would avoid the number 13 because it is considered bad luck. There is also a bona fide phobia relating to the number, something that you could well imagine Apple wanting to sidestep. Triskaidekaphobia is a fear of the number 13, something that goes well beyond the belief that the number is unlucky.

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 13 lineup, or whatever it winds up being called, at some point in September 2021.

We’re just a few short months away from that happening so we’d expect more leaks to come thick and fast between now and then.
