I have customized the original wallpaper with Windows 7 Starter logo just to make it look more cool! Both the original and the customized version with Windows 7 Starter branding can be downloaded from the links given below.

Times – The Best RSS Application for Mac OS X

Taimur Asad·August 10, 2009
Times is a unique RSS application for Mac platform with an interface designed to make it look like a newspaper. The devs at Acrylic Software have done a fantastic job on making RSS feeds a treat to read! Many people, including myself mostly use Google Reader or Windows Live Mail (on Windows) to read RSS which are both powerful and cool, but the experience they provide is mostly bland. With Times, you get an experience, that is familiar to the traditional newspapers you read!

Anum Lodhi·August 9, 2009

I bet you might have wondered atleast once whether there was a way to open your project in Blend directly through Visual Studio!

Enable Aero Glass in Windows Virtual PC

Taimur Asad·August 5, 2009
Windows Virtual PC along with XP Mode (RC) was released yesterday for Windows 7 Ultimate, Enterprise and Professional users. We all know that Virtual PC 2007 didn't have the support to enable Windows Aero in guest machines because of the built-in VM virtualized graphics driver which couldn't support true GPU hardware acceleration. Thanks to the powerful set of “Integration Components” in Windows Virtual PC and enhanced version of Remote Desktop in 7, we can now have full Aero Glass experience in Windows 7 VMs provided the host machine has Windows Aero enabled.
