watchOS 6.2.5 Brings ECG And Irregular Heart Rhythm Notifications To Saudi Arabia

Apple Watch owners in Saudi Arabia will be able to take advantage of Irregular heart rhythm notifications once they install watchOS 6.2.5. The update was released to the public earlier today.

The update brings with it support for the ECG app as well as the notifications that will warn users if the watch detects an issue with the rhythm of their heartbeat.

Not mentioned in the release notes is the addition of new Pride Apple Watch faces. Previously spotted in the latest watchOS 6.2.5 beta, the new faces are designed to compliment the Apple Watch Pride bands that were also released earlier today.

Alongside the Pride watch faces Apple has also added new rainbow-colored options for the California, Numerals Mono, and Numerals Duo watch faces.

The update can now be installed on all compatible Apple Watches and can be found in the Watch app on the iPhone that is paired with the wearable.

watchOS 6.2.5 includes new features, improvements and bug fixes:

  • ECG app on Apple Watch Series 4 or later now available in Saudi Arabia

  • Irregular heart rhythm notifications now available in Saudi Arabia

This update came on the same day that Apple also released the final beta of iOS 13.5. Rumors have the update being made available to the public as soon as Wednesday, assuming no showstopping bugs are found over the next 48 hours or so.
