Tesla Reveals A New Fleet Of Tesla Semi Trucks

Yesterday saw Tesla’s quarterly earnings call and amid the news that the company’s Cybertruck has now been delayed until 2023 comes some more positive news — there’s a new fleet of Tesla Semi trucks.

However, there is still no information on when these trucks could be available for customers to buy or when mass production will begin.

Just like the Cybertruck, the Semi Truck has been delayed multiple times since it was supposed to arrive at some point in 2019 and we are now will into 2022 with little information on what’s going on.

While Tesla didn’t specifically call out the Semi Truck during its quarterly call, it did release a new photo that shows a handful of the trucks — all shiny and brand new.

While most customers will be more interested in getting their hands on the Roadster or Cybertruck, the Semi Truck is one of the more interesting projects underway right now thanks to its potential for changing the way goods are transported. But like so many Tesla projects, it’s shrouded in secrecy and almost no information is known about it.

Given the fact Tesla is struggling to get its cars into the hands of customers, as is the rest of the auto industry thanks to a global ship shortage, you have to imagine that the Semi Truck is somewhere towards the bottom of Elon Musk’s list of priorities right now.
