Samsung has introduced two new wearables today, the first being second-generation Gear Fit called Gear Fit 2, and second being truly wireless earbuds called Gear IconX.

We’ve seen the explosion of smartphones and the meteoric rise of tablets in the last six years. We’ve also seen the likes of Apple and Samsung create a whole new category of product with wearables and hardware like the Apple Watch. We’re currently witnessing the emergence of the smart home with home automation products, followed closely by new, smart vehicles as well by the likes of Tesla and others. Now it seems like we’re also about to welcome in the era of smarter vehicle tech thanks to Samsung and its new Samsung Connect Auto dongle.

Is Samsung Gear S2 iPhone compatible? According to a report, Samsung is working to make its new Tizen OS-powered smartwatch compatible with Apple’s iOS platform.

After teasing it first at its Unpacked 2015 media event in mid-August, Samsung today officially announced its new smartwatch, the Gear S2.

Samsung’s Tizen OS is finally getting another run-out in the consumer market via the new Z1 smartphone, a low-end handset that will roll out to Indian consumers initially and costs just $92.

The Samsung Gear Fit fitness tracker and smartwatch is probably the least bulky smartwatch around, but it’s also more of a fitness tracker than the kind of smartwatch that we’re all so excited about getting. That doesn’t mean that it’s not awesome though, and if you’ve been on the fence about picking one up and happen to live in the United States, then now might be a great time to take the plunge.

Samsung has today lifted the covers off the Samsung Z, the world’s first commercially available smartphone powered by the Tizen operating system. Those who keep a keen eye on the consumer electronics industry will be familiar with Tizen through its integration with Samsung’s smart cameras and intelligent wrist wear, such as the Samsung Gear 2 lineup of smartwatches. However, the latest “premium” smartphone from the Korean outfit is the first device of its type to be launched with Tizen on-board and will get its first public outing during tomorrow’s Tizen Developer Conference in the heart of San Francisco.
