Sony has just announced that they are bringing official PlayStation apps on both iOS and Android platforms. In a new post on the official PlayStation blog, Sony confirmed that the app will be compatible on iPhones and iPod touches running iOS 4.x and above, and Android handsets running version 1.6 or over.

Viber is an iOS application that lets you make free phone calls to other devices that have Viber. You can call any Viber user anywhere in the world, for free. Viber is available to install for free on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, all you have to do is provide your phone number meaning, unlike Skype, no registration is necessary.
One of the things that I find annoying when downloading apps from the App Store is that it closes right after you start downloading an app. This behavior not only hampers the otherwise great experience, but it also slows things down as you have to reopen App Store again and again after every purchase until you are done with your app shopping.

Apple has just announced their “Top 10” list of everything-iTunes for the year 2010. This includes top music, movies, TV shows, podcasts and iPhone / iPad apps. The iPhone and iPad apps are broken down into paid, free and top grossing categories for the year 2010.
