TinyUmbrella has been updated to version 6.13.00, bringing support for Apple's latest iOS 6.1.3 firmware. As well as catering to the most recent edition of the popular mobile OS, developer Notcom has also fixed the ClassNotFoundException on Platform bug, which seemed only to affect TinyUmbrella users on Windows.
If you're an iPad owner with a slight yearning for a Microsoft Surface Pro, a new case from Logitech will at least help your device to achieve the appearance of the Redmond-designed tablet. The FabricSkin Keyboard Folio completely wraps your iPad, leaving behind the altogether more straight-edged look of the Surface, and as an added bonus, the keyboard element is also completely waterproof.
Rumors pertaining to the fifth-gen iPad have begun heating up over the past few weeks, and the consensus seems to be that the device will take on a similar form factor to that of the iPad mini. Today, a photo purported to illustrate the interior of the rear shell of the "iPad 5" has been released by Tactus, the same company that offered the world a glimpse into the shell of the supposed low-cost iPhone. From the image, it would appear as though the various contours and grooves tie in with earlier such leaks, and although we're reserving full judgment until we encounter some more substantial evidence, it's looking very much like we should begin bracing ourselves for a "large iPad mini." Apart from the alleged iPad 5 exterior shell, a SIM tray has also popped up which is claimed to be of the next-gen iPhone, dubbed the iPhone 5S. More details right after the jump.
It's debatable whether using an iPad as a camera is really all that of a good idea, but that doesn't stop people from doing it, still. There isn't a major event that goes by without there being some video footage of someone either filming it or taking photos of it with an iPad.

The fith-gen iPad rumor mill has gathered significant pace over the past couple of weeks, and with a report a couple of days back suggesting that the iPad 5 release date could be upon us as early as June, the increased attention may well be warranted. Today, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who tends only to speak out with reliable information, has chimed into the debate once more, and although his August-September release bracket refutes those earlier presumptions, he does believe the next Apple tablet will be dramatically thinner and lighter than the rather bloated fourth-generation offering.
It has been just under two weeks since Mark Zuckerberg invited various members of the press to Facebook's Menlo Park headquarters to discuss the new Facebook Home for Android, and although its subsequent release was restricted to only a handful of devices, the integration of the Chat Heads feature into Facebook Messenger for Android offered the wider audience a taste of the new social plugin. Now, it has been revealed that Chat Heads will also be making its way onto Facebook for iOS, with an App Store update imminent.
A case mold has today emerged purporting to offer the strongest indication yet as to the form factor of the upcoming fifth-gen iPad. Perhaps even more exciting than the case itself, however, is an accompanying note which suggests the device will be announced by Apple on June 18th, which is just over a month away, and may also coincide with the fruit company's annual Worldwide Developer Conference.

I cannot recall seeing a wider variety of concept ideas for a piece of software than I have recently for iOS 7, and with the tech community anticipating some big changes thanks to the increased influence of one Jony Ive, it's hardly surprising to see designers tripping over themselves to bring forth their ideas and coming up with all sorts of iOS 7 concepts. One in particular from YouTuber iamthe6ixth offers a somewhat alternative take on the vast majority of those we've looked at hitherto, and instead of playing on the idea of a dramatically altered user interface, this concept presents changes pertaining to the functionality and behavior of iOS.
