Top Charms Kickstarter Project Lets Users Wear Their Favorite Pictures And Share To Facebook [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·November 5, 2012
Majority of us today have some form of extremely active online life that involves interacting and sharing information with people via multiple social networks. Online outlets like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook allows us to connect with the world around with us in a way that has never been possible before, but sometimes it all feels just a little too virtual. The Top Charms Kickstarter project is a nice and quirky way of bringing a section of our virtual world into reality, by letting backers wear and show off images and photographs that matter to them.

Twitter To Add Instagram-Esque Photo Filters To Its Mobile Apps

Ben Reid·November 4, 2012
Those whom see the likes of Instagram as the debase of real photography, will be less than enthused to learn that Twitter is planning on integrating some kind of photo filtering system into its official mobile apps.

Paul Morris·October 23, 2012
United Kingdom based consumers have been watching the Everything Everywhere (EE) story unfold over the last month, waiting patiently for the UK's first 4G network to release details regarding the tariffs that will be available when the provider officially launches on October 30th. We've been drip-fed information over the last few weeks regarding the handsets that will be available as well as the potential data speeds that consumers could expect to achieve, and now, we have the final piece of the jigsaw with the official release of the available tariffs and associated handset prices.

Beats By Dr. Dre Launches Pill Bluetooth Speaker, Executive Noise-Cancelling Headphones

Ben Reid·October 17, 2012
Beats By Dr. Dre is a brand everybody now recognizes. Some argue the audio equipment endorsed and partially designed by the hip-hop legend is overpriced, gimmicky, and inferior to similar products offered by rivaling companies. Although it's certainly laughable to see certain folks pay upward of $300 for headphones without knowing how to properly encode music (or indeed, what encoding even means), you have to hand it to Beats for its marketing strength.

Instagram Socialmatic Digital Camera Concept Being Turned Into Reality [VIDEO]

Awais Imran·October 10, 2012
Remember the old Instagram Socialmatic Camera Concept we discussed in detail back in May? Well, as it turns out, the folks behind the concept are now working on turning the concept into reality with a mass manufactured digital-camera-shaped-like-the-Instagram-logo that lets you shoot, edit, and share / print tree easy steps.

Facebook Now Has Over 1 Billion Active Users, 600 Million Users On Mobile

Ben Reid·October 4, 2012
With the world's number one social network having "languished" on 900 million+ active users for a good while now, it was only a matter of time before Mark Zuckerberg's creation passed the landmark billion, and as revealed today by an official note, that impressive feat was surpassed last month. Having only reached 100 million monthly active users in 2008, the growth has been nothing short of incredible, and although the well-documented IPO earlier this year didn't pass without hiccup, the web's newest stock market company continues to go from strength to strength.

Ben Reid·September 29, 2012
As you'll probably be aware, this year's Worldwide Jailbreak Convention (WWJC '12) will commence in a short while, and unlike Apple's WWDC keynotes, the celebration and insight into the jailbreaking community will be available to watch as a live stream; details after the jump!

Facebook Gifts Lets You Send Real Gifts To Your Friends

Ben Reid·September 28, 2012
Since the much-publicized IPO earlier this year, Facebook has worked tirelessly to improve its range of products and, most notably, monetize the huge mobile reach it currently possesses. A large chunk of the social network’s 900+ million users login using their smartphones and tablets, but Mark Zuckerberg’s company has, as yet, failed to turn those numbers into cold, hard cash.

Beats Aims To Take Apple Head-On With Its Own Smartphone, Music Service, And A TV Set [REPORT]

Paul Morris·August 30, 2012
The consumer technology industry is ever-changing and we have seen companies make some radical and rather risky decisions in the past in an attempt to get ahead of the game, sometimes you just have to sit back in amazement and rub your eyes a few times to make sure that what you are actually reading is accurate and not some kind of on-screen word play trickery. For me, this is one of those times, as reports are suggesting that Dr. Dre's Beats company has its eye on some serious expansion in the near future and could be set to launch an all out marketplace assault on the world’s most valuable company, Apple.

Instacube Is A Living Canvas For Your Instagram Photographs

Paul Morris·August 22, 2012
I will be open and confess my love for not only Instagram but anything that makes an attempt to use the Instagram API and make a rather awesome product on the back of it. I got on board with Instagram from the beginning and have been sharing photographs with my followers ever since directly from iOS on my iPhone and Android from the Nexus 7. Such is my love for Instagram that I also tend to sign-up for anything related to it, such as Webagram and Instacanvas, so when the Instacube Kickstarter project presented itself, I had to become a part of it.
