If you’ve been looking for a gaming franchise to prove to you just how powerful, immersive and utterly enjoyable mobile gaming can be, then you would be hard pushed to find something more demonstrative of those qualities than the unbelievably addictive and enjoyable Infinity Blade trilogy.

Infinity Blade has been quite the graphics benchmark on iOS since it first came out five years ago. The brilliant title which is now in its third iteration, called Infinity Blade III, has completely shed its price tag for the first time and can be downloaded absolutely free on all compatible iOS devices. Infinity Blade, when first launched, defined and shaped the scenario of iOS gaming, and established Apple’s portable devices as having true gaming potential. Even today, it is hailed as a benchmark for quality gaming experience on the iPhone and the iPad. And now, the third installment in the Infinity Blade series, Infinity Blade III, which was showcased on the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c unveiling event, is now finally available on the iTunes App Store.

At this point we’ve all watched the Apple iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c announcement event from yesterday, but some of it is just worth watching again. High on that list would have to be the Infinity Blade III trailer that we saw Epic Games’ Donald Mustard and his brother playing through on-stage. We got a good idea of what Apple is allowing game makers to do with the iPhone 5s during that demo, and now you can watch the whole trailer online, sans all the Apple stuff either side of it.
