Apparently, some Russian folks have managed to port a “real” working ROM of Windows Phone 7 on the most popular Windows Mobile device – the HTC HD2. Tom Codon of HTCPedia has posted screenshots which shows off the device running an early build of Windows Phone OS 7.0.

Folks over at Modaco forums are working on porting the new HTC Sense experience from the newly released HTC Desire over to the Google-branded Nexus One phone. For those of you who don't know, HTC Desire was unveiled yesterday by HTC at the Mobile World Congress 2010. Specs wise, this phone is exactly as powerful as the Google phone with 1Ghz processor, 512MB RAM, 3.7’’ AMOLED display and so on. Since it is a HTC branded phone, it comes with a unique HTC Sense experience with exclusive HTC-designed widgets.
Just found this out on WinMo.nl website and thought it was worthy of a share. What you see here is a HTC HD2 running one of the early builds of Windows Phone 7 Series. According to the site, the build was working nice and smooth and it was shown running on HD2 to the audience in Barcelona present at MWC.
