The Sphero Mini is super small which makes it great for little kids. It’s equipped with a gyroscope and accelerometer so it knows exactly where it is and there are colorful LEDs as well.

Users can play games using the free Sphero app and older children can learn to code using the Blocks drive mode. If they want to take a step further they can download the Sphero Edu app to learn things like JavaScript and Swift. This really could be a gateway to coding if your kid is that way inclined.
