Sony Adds New Colors To PS4 DualShock 4 Wireless Controllers

Sony is no stranger to offering its PS4 DualShock 4 controller in multiple different colors and it’s at it again, this time announcing four new colors. The new colors include Electric Purple, Titanium Blue, Rose Gold, and Red Camouflage.

Some of those offerings are more riffs on existing offerings rather than all-new colors, but that’s not going to be a problem for those who pick them up.

All of them have a two-tone color scheme and the Electric Purple one in particular adds an extra level of color by using all-white cons on the face buttons.

That might be something that puts off the purists or those who rely on the colors for quick identification, but there’s no doubt it looks stunning.

Like the rest of the color options, these new controllers are available for $64.99 which is an extra $5 over the standard black affair. They’ll go on sale this September so anyone who wants to pick one up is going to have to wait a few weeks.

To match that Rose Gold controller, Sony says that it will also be releasing a matching Wireless Headset for the PS4 that will be suitably Rose Gold. It won’t go on sale until November, though, and it will cost just shy of $100 once it does. Nobody ever said that choosing your own color was going to be a cheap affair, did they?

If none of the new colors suit your taste there are plenty of existing colors to choose from. We’re sure there’s a color for everyone at this point.
