Smartive Hotels For Android Lets You Book The Hotel Of Your Dreams Right From Your Device
Smartive Hotels is a new free Android app which hopes to make the finding and booking of hotel rooms as easy as possible, right from the comfort of your own smartphone.
Travelling is one of life’s little luxuries that comes with an annoying down side. While the fun of travelling the world, or even your own country is undoubtable, actually setting the trip up can actually leave you ready for a holiday even more! There’s the travel, which is often no picnic, and then there’s the ever stressful job of finding the right hotel for you.
There are plenty of websites which promise to help make the choosing of a hotel as easy as possible, but we like native apps here at Redmond Pie, which is why we find Smartive Hotels to be as interesting as we do.
Recently released, Smartive Hotels promises to give users access to a database of over 140,000 hotels worldwide which should at least give you somewhere to start. Hotel descriptions, photos and maps are all par for course, and special rates are also available across some of those 140k rooms. We like the sound of cheaper hotels rooms!
Unbiased reviews are also in there, with TripAdvisor powering the whole thing which obviously helps to lend the feeling of authenticity to proceedings. As ever though, nobody can vouch for the quality of those reviews and it’s down to the individual as to whether they put a great deal of faith in them. Still, TripAdvisor is one of the best, so hopefully these reviews can be trusted.
Free to download, the Smartive Hotels goes beyond the app, too. Services such as a customer care team acting behind the scenes to help find a resolution to potential issues, as well as there being over twenty different currencies with which to do your hotel-booking business. We particularly like the news that there are some human beings behind the scenes, ready should you need them. We all hate it when things go wrong, but it’s how a company deals with them that shows its true colors.
