Apple has released the new iPhone OS Firmware 3.1.2 for the original iPhone (Edge), iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch via an iTunes update. To update to iPhone OS Firmware 3.1.2, all you will have to do is to connect your phone with your computer via usb and start iTunes. You should now see a new message a prompting you to download and install the new firmware. Simply click on “Download and Install” button to get on to the new iPhone OS 3.1.2 firmware.

Folks over at XDA-Developers have managed to extract and run Windows Marketplace for Windows Mobile 6.5 on Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1 devices! All you have to do is to download and install the .cab file discussed here which will then download an update for Windows Mobile to make it ready to use on Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1 devices. This .cab file fix will also work on cooked ROMs of the recently leaked builds of Windows Mobile 6.5 Build 230XX and 234XX branch.

Stephanie Hannon – Product Manager of Google Wave has just sent out an update (tweet) to her followers via twitter confirming that Google has just started sending out invitations for Wave. It will take Google hours before they complete sending out invites to about 100,000 users today.
