For the last few months, ZodTTD was working on a new Nintendo 64 emulator for iPhone 3GS and the new iPod touch 3G, using the Open GLES 2.0 libraries. He has finally released the much awaited emulator by the name of “n64iPhone”, and it is now available on Cydia for $2.49 on ZodTTD repository.
The upcoming Google Nexus One phone with Android 2.1 has this built-in feature with which you can set animated wallpaper as your background just like how you can do on HTC HD2 with HTC Sense. Since Android 2.1 has now been ported over to Droid, it is now possible to run animated wallpapers. Thanks to the folks over at DroidForums who have posted a hack to enable this feature on Motorola Droid, running Android 2.1 ROM.
HDBlog.it has posted a hands on video which shows off the new HTC Sense 2.5.1921 in action on the new US version of HTC HD2 2.01 ROM. This latest Build of HTC Sense (aka Manila and TouchFLO 3D) brings a new “Documents Tab” which lets you quickly browse through your documents stored anywhere on your device right from the beautiful Sense interface. The best thing about this add-in is that it supports almost all popular major formats like .txt, .doc, .docx, .xls and .pdf. Holding the device horizontally will enable you to browse through documents in a 3D Cover Flow –like mode.

Remember the Multifl0w app for iPhone which we posted about last month? Well a new multitasking app by the name of ProSwitcher has now been released, which outclasses multifl0w in each and every way possible. ProSwitcher is an iPhone app which allows switching between applications running in background in a beautiful Palm Pre style cover flow-like mode. It basically act as a graphical extension to the already popular app from Cydia called Backgrounder to present all opened apps in a tabbed view, similar to the view seen on Mobile Safari browser.
We informed you about the new and upcoming T-Mobile US ROM for HTC HD2, which hinted towards a possible US release of the said device. And now it seems like the ROM has been leaked, and is available for download. Beware though as this ROM is for T-Mobile US only and it may have issues working properly with carriers outside United States.
Earlier today, we informed you about the upcoming Motorola Milestone ROM for Droid, which promised to bring all the multitouch goodness including pinch to zoom and tap functionality to the web browser, pictures and Google Maps app over to the Droid on Verizon. The alpha version of the said ROM is now available for download from AllDroid forum. This custom ROM for Droid is based on the original stock Android 2.0 ROM which Motorola Milestone is shipped with.
A Russian site by the name of Mobiset.ru has managed to grab, what looks like first clear photographs of the upcoming sequel to the popular Motorola Droid phone, called Sholes Tabled. Sholes Tablet, which is also sometimes knows as the Droid 2.0 will be the flagship device of Motorola in the year 2010 and it is most likely to ship with Android 2.1 in the first half of 2010.
The upcoming version 2.0.1 ROM for HTC HD2 has revealed, that HTC HD2 could finally be heading to the United States on T-Mobile in the first half of 2010. The files and folders dumped from .nbh file has definite references in the form of a folder named “TMOUS”, which points to a T-Mobile US version of the said device. HTC HD2 was released in Europe and Asia in October of this year for a retail price of approx. US $800 for the unlocked version.
More details have emerged regarding the upcoming Google phone called Nexus One. Tnkgrl Mobile who has had a hands on with the device has confirmed that Nexus One, like Motorola Droid on Verizon wont support multitouch, out of the box. Not atleast in the two apps (Browser and Google Maps) that she tried out.
