This is a huge leak! Details on the first Dell Windows Phone 7 device have been leaked. Dubbed as the “Dell Lightning”, the device features a sliding (portrait) physical keyboard with a stunning 4.1’’ OLED display.
Well yes, you read that right ! Hackers have finally managed to run a “debug” version of Android OS on the iPhone. Almost everything is said to be working, as can also be seen in the video attached below.
Apple has published its Q2, 2010 financial report and once again their Q2 has proved as one of the most successful quarter for the company. The total revenue was $13.50 billion USD with net quarterly profit of $3.07 billion. iPhone sales raised to 8.75 million (increase of 131% from last year) and iPod sales were 10.89 million (down 1%). Great news for Android users! If you have been waiting for an update to Android 2.1, well your prayers have been half-answered. There’s now a huge possibility that a major OTA update is coming soon. Rumor has it that the Google branded Nexus One is going to be the first handset to get the update. But for other Android phones, 2.2 update may still be far off considering the fact that many are still stuck on version 1.6, let alone 2.x.
iPhone OS 4 Beta 2 was pushed to developers yesterday and it mainly brought API improvements, increased performance and bug fixes. Apart from this, Apple has also added a new faster and smoother animation for switching between apps during multitasking. This carousel transition rotates apps in a wheel-like form. Before handing over the handset back to Apple, Gizmodo had a full dissection of the next-gen iPhone. They found out that it had larger battery – around 19% than that of iPhone 3GS, processor (whether A4 chip or not) couldn't be verified as the logic board was completely sealed by Apple, it had tons of screws and every component was shrunken down to accommodate the larger battery which now takes around half of the inside.
Apple has just released the Beta 2 version of iPhone OS 4 for developers, along with an updated version of SDK for iPhone and iPod touch. Only members enrolled in the iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program can access these bits of iPhone OS 4 and SDK by signing into Apple Developer Connection.

Folks over at Gizmodo have finally spilled the beans on how they actually got hold of Apple’s darling, that is the next-generation iPhone which was lost at a bar in Redwood City. We are not sure of how much of this is truth, but at least this what we 'have been told so far.
The next-generation iPhone is expected to be unveiled in June at WWDC 2010 which will be held at Mascone Center in San Francisco. The real deal as we informed you earlier, has already been leaked in the wild.
