An analyst at Rodman & Renshaw claims that the upcoming Apple iPad 2 will feature a dual-core CPU to compete with the likes of RIM PlayBook, and the Android “Honeycomb” based Motorola Tablet.
The Redsn0w 0.9.7 jailbreak tool has been updated yet again. This time fixing even more bugs, specifically the ones related to non-GUI programs which handles media content like the embedded videos in iTunes.
One of the most annoying bug of initial release of Redsn0w 0.9.7 was the native app crashes which made using the Task Switcher, iPod and YouTube apps unusable after the untethered jailbreak. Well with the latest release of Redsn0w 0.9.7b2, all these problems have been fixes. Bluetooth functionality though is still disabled.
The iPhone Dev-Team have just released their “backup plan” (Redsn0w 0.9.7) for untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak. The just released beta version of Redsn0w will enable you to jailbreak (untethered) iPhone, iPad and iPod touch on iOS 4.2.1.
Back in November, we reported about “Pull To Refresh for Mail” tweak in Cydia for jailbroken iPhones. And now, this nifty tweak is available for Mobile Safari browser on your iOS device. Once the tweak has been installed through Cydia, all you have to do is to start Safari and slide the page down until you see the refresh dialogue appear. Since Comex’s untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 has been delayed, MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev-Team has announced that they are going to release their “backup plan” for untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak over the Christmas weekend. However before they do a general release, they are looking for testers to try out this latest version of Redsn0w. The requirements for testing Redsn0w for iOS 4.2.1 untethered jailbreak are as follows.
