Talk of a potential release for N.O.V.A 3 began pretty much as soon as the second installment hit smartphones and tablets, but there has been little in the way of concrete news regarding the hotly anticipated shooter.
Every individual who owns a smartphone or a tablet device have their own reasons for doing so, and will more often than not utilize a certain set of features on a more regular basis than others. From a personal point of view, and surely something that is echoed by many more people, I happen to extensively use my iPhone for web browsing more often than not using Apple's Mobile Safari.
While the announcement for the next Galaxy smartphone - informally referred to as the Galaxy S III - isn't due until May 3rd as we've previously reported, Samsung has already dropped some news regarding the processor that will power the upcoming flagship Android smartphone. By the looks of things, this processor definitely seems to be worth getting your Android-mascot branded mascot in a twist over. It's called the Exynos 4 Quad, is clocked at 1.4GHz, and is based on the ARM Cortex A9 mobile processor. This processor seems to be quite inline with some earlier rumors, apart from the branding; rumors suggested that the upcoming quad-core CPU will sport the Exynos 5 branding.
The jailbreak loving public, especially those who have upgraded their firmware to the latest version, are waiting anxiously to find out when the development teams will work through all of the issues and produce an untethered solution for all devices running the latest iOS firmware.
People like guns, and they like shooting them at things. People are also rather keen on their technology, with the iPad still the tablet of choice. Combining guns and an iPad is always going to be something of a crowd please, but when you also throw in a prototype quadrotor then you are onto a guaranteed winner.
It's been a while since we saw a well thought out and extremely useful tweak land in Cydia that brought some additional functionality to the Siri intelligent assistant. After seeing an influx of tweaks becoming available that aimed to enhance Siri, the last four weeks or so have been pretty quiet, that is until now with the release of the Error-O-Pedia tweak by Krishna Sagar.
Having seen just how quickly an app like Instagram can become a billion dollar success story, it figures other developers would want to try their hand at building competitive image-sharing apps.
As a result of iOS devices significantly gaining ground, pundits have started discussing their role in the world of gaming. Now, before I begin, I do want to make something clear. iOS has nothing on hardcore PC and console gaming, and by the looks of things, it won't for quite some time. Those of us who play Battlefield or even CoD will still be turning to the console or PC for our fix, there's no question about that.
If Apple gave every individual the chance to design their own hardware that catered for their own needs perfectly and fulfilled their aesthetic desires, then I am pretty sure we would see a collection of weird and wonderfully bizarre Macs knocking around the world. Fortunately for our sanity, they don't offer such a bespoke design service, meaning we will just have to live with the excellence that they currently provide, but that doesn't stop designers from producing their own unique concept designs.
With little over a week before Samsung finally takes the wraps off the Galaxy S III, the tech world is doing its level best to reveal what the device is going to look like.
