After something of a false start yesterday, Apple has now made two new OS X 10.11 El Capitan betas available to download with both developer and public betas arriving almost simultaneously.

The long revered WhatsApp Web Client has officially arrived for iPhone. It is very rare that a large company offering a popular application or service can work on a substantial upgrade to that product without some of the information leaking into the public domain prior to release. Unfortunately for Parallels that's exactly what happened last month, with the difference being that it was actually an internal leak that let the cat out of the bag. That said, the company's latest iteration of its virtual machine software, Parallels Desktop 11, is now officially available for Mac OS X users.
Apple is undeniably placing a lot of emphasis on the Apple Watch, and rightly so. Early indications suggest that the first iteration of the company's "most personal product yet" has made an immediate impact with consumers, something which can only get better with the public release of watchOS 2 in the coming weeks. Like its other products, such as the iPhone and iPad, Apple prefers to maintain a certain level of control over what is and isn't possible with its watch. Now, thanks to some internal tinkering by developer Hamza Sood, one of those Apple imposed limitations has been removed; that is the ability to add custom watch faces to the device.
As we go about our lives, we use all kinds of technology that relies on batteries, whether that be a smartphone, a tablet or perhaps a notebook computer. As we use these devices, we recharge them before using them again. This process can happen thousands of times during a device's lifetime, especially if it's something that we charge each day, like a smartphone or a smartwatch. That's all well and good, but as anyone with an old notebook computer will tell you, batteries eventually start to see their overall capacity decrease as the battery itself begins to decay. That's not good for battery life.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow Developer Preview 3 is now available to download for Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and the Android TV Nexus Player device. Formerly called Android M, the bits released today are part of final developer preview program which should be pretty close to what general public gets on their devices when the final version is released this fall.
The iPhone 6s has the blogosphere abuzz with rumors and speculations, but nothing beats the audacity of supposedly leaked photos that tell us more about the device than Apple would be okay with. The latest to hit the web are photos of an alleged pink/rose gold iPhone 6s, which design-wise unsurprisngly looks strikingly similar to the current iPhone 6.
Apple just released final version of iOS 8.4.1 download links for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users. This release comes almost a month after iOS 8.4 was released with support for Apple Music in late June.
