New Samsung Video Offers Better Look At Galaxy Fold

It’s a big week for the mobile world with Mobile World Congress currently underway in Barcelona, but last week saw the announcement of the Galaxy Fold, a foldable phone that we’ve been expecting for months. With MWC now underway, we’re starting to learn more about the mystery phone, and Samsung has now also released a video showing the phone off to a much greater extent than we had previously been privy to.

The video, which is a little over four minutes long is for some reason oddly missing music, so you’re left listening to nothing but background noise while the phone is shown off. That doesn’t really matter, though, because all we’re really interested in is seeing this thing open, closed, and everything in-between those two states.

The video does show us the phone being opened and closed, and we also get a look at some of the colors that will be available to those willing to spend a couple of thousand dollars on one of these things. What we will say is that the phone looks much better in this video than any previous outing, and that has to be a good thing for anyone thinking of placing a pre-order. For everyone else, this video is unlikely to convince you to part with your cash.

That being said, it’s clear that there is something to be said for having a tablet that folds up, and when open, the Galaxy Fold looks pretty great, even with that eyebrow-looking cutout in the top corner.

Check the video out and let us know your thoughts. Will you be picking up a Galaxy Fold?
