Logitech has the first video doorbell to support HomeKit Secure Video in North America after it made the Circle View Wired Doorbell available to buy yesterday.
Priced at $199, the video doorbell isn’t cheap. But it also isn’t expensive considering the capabilities it possesses.
The inclusion of HomeKit Secure Video is right at the top of that list because it allows users to put their recordings in iCloud rather than on Logitech’s servers.
It also means that the recording can be played back on iPhones, iPads, Macs, and even Apple Watch, too.
The camera itself supports HD and HDR video as well as night vision and a 160-degree field of view. The only downside? It’ll need to be hardwired into your house in order to work.
Best-in-class Logitech TrueView™ video with a 160° field of view, head-to-toe HD video, HDR, and color night vision to capture every last detail.
Developed exclusively for Apple HomeKit. Enjoy a seamless viewing experience with two-way audio in the Home app on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, and Apple TV.
