Google Pixel Fold Specs And Design Leak Ahead Of Official Announcement

Google’s upcoming foldable Pixel phone has leaked again, this time with specifications and the overall designs making an appearance.

This time everything comes via leaker OnLeaks, working with Howtoisolve.

A series of images were shared that show the thin foldable that appears to look very similar to the Oppo Find N foldable phone. It’s slightly wider however, coming in with measurements of 158.7 x 139.7 x 5.7mm. The camera bump is also expected to be slightly thicker, too.

As for specs, we’re told to expect an external display of 5.79 inches while the internal display will be a much larger 7.69 inches. A selfie camera will be located both on the external and internal screens, but the internal one will live in a bezel and will not be a hole-punch design.

Other specifications include 12GB of RAM paired with a Google Tensor G2 chip. USB-C charging will be used while a fingerprint scanner will be built into the power button, according to the leak.

All that’s really left now is how much the Pixel Fold will cost and when it will arrive. We’re told to expect a price of around $1799 while May 2023 is the window that looks most likely right now.

Both black and silver color options will be available, assuming what we’re hearing is accurate.

Google’s first entry into the foldable phone world is one that’s a long time coming and it could truly help to push the foldable phone arena forward with added competition for Samsung never a bad thing.
