Factory Unlocked / SIM-Free iPhone 6s, Plus Prices In US, UK And Other Countries
The next-generation of Apple’s extremely popular smartphone is now an official reality. Sure, over the last couple of months we’ve witnessed leaks galore purporting to show off individual parts of the iPhone 6s, but there’s nothing quite like seeing it held aloft by Tim Cook and his executive team as part of a dedicated media event. Now that the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are here, we can move away from discussing its technical and visual DNA, and concentrate on what really matters to those looking to potentially purchase the device; the cost.
If you happened to have purchased the last year’s iPhone 6 or 6 Plus outright then you may have noticed that Apple has increased the cost of this year’s iPhone in a select few markets. However Apple is not to be blamed for this. This is due to the United State Dollar’s fluctuation against currencies such as the Canadian and Australian dollar, as well as the Euro, Apple has been forced to hike up prices in a number of countries. The good news is that prices in locations such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and the majority of Asian countries aren’t affected.
Apple will launch iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in first-wave of countries on September 25. These include: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. Apple plans on releasing the new iPhones in over 130 countries, with over 400 network carriers as partners by the year end.
If you live in one of the above mentioned first-wave of launch countries and are interested in buying the model which is unlocked, which means you can use it on any carrier you like anywhere in the world, check out our list below for pricing for fully unlocked/SIM-free models in your territory.
