Download macOS 10.13 High Sierra Beta 1 For Your Mac Right Now

You can now download macOS 10.13 High Sierra Beta 1 for your compatible Mac right now. Here are the details on it.

We are always well aware of at least some of the announcements that are going to be made at today’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2017), but that doesn’t stop them from being spectacular or make them any less exciting when they actually happen. In addition to the initial developer beta of iOS 11 offered with immediate availability, Apple has also released the first pre-release seed of macOS 10.13 High Sierra for immediate download and install for all compatible Mac hardware.

This particular version of Apple’s Mac operating system is the second major iteration to fall under the ‘macOS’ naming convention, which seems madness considering it feels like only yesterday we were debating whether or not Apple would actually change from OS X to macOS as the speculation had suggested.

Still, that name did indeed change to fall more in line with iOS, watchOS, and tvOS, and with macOS 10.12 Sierra out the way, it’s time for 10.13 High Sierra to take its place in the spotlight and reign supreme for all those with a compatible Mac.

As for compatibility, most modern Macs, including the iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini, and Mac Pro are capable of installing and executing the latest macOS. Naming aside, Apple is once again showing that it is committed to trying to truly develop and progress macOS as much as is humanly possible to the benefit of all with a MacBook or iMac. It will be very interesting to see the progression of macOS 10.13 High Sierra over the next few months, but at least in the immediate, we have a developer seed which can be downloaded and interacted with by those who not only build apps and software for Mac machines, but who are also passionate about helping Apple on the journey of ensuring that macOS 10.13 is as primed and ready as it can be for an official fall launch.

For those who aren’t registered as a developer on Apple’s Developer Program, but who still wish to get an early introduction to macOS 10.13, the first public beta of the platform should be issued by the Cupertino-based company by the end of this month. That will immediately expand the testing pool for the platform and hopefully ensure that bugs and issues are found and reported with immediate effect to allow a smooth development going forward.

To download macOS 10.13 beta 1, head over to developer.apple.com and initiate the Mac App Store install of it from there.

With the first beta now here, the process has been started, so it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 10.13 ride.
