Download: iOS 16 Beta 8 IPSW Links, OTA Profile File For iPhone Released

Apple has today released the eighth beta version of iOS 16 to developers, giving them another look at what the company is getting ready to release to the world next month.

The update, which can be installed by developers who have the correct beta profile installed on their iPhones, comes a week before the likely release of iOS 16’s release candidate update and is thought to be full of bug fixes and improvements rather than any new features.

The big iOS 16 release will add number of new features to the iPhone, not least a newly customizable Home Screen, one that includes new widgets and wallpaper customization options. Users can also change the clock’s font and color for the first time, too.

Other improvements coming as part of the iOS 16 update include the ability to edit and unsend iMessages, while emails can also be unsent for the first time, too. Emails can also be schedule for later sending should the need arise.

Apple’s September is already looking like a busy one, with new iPhones likely to be released alongside new Apple Watches.

A special event is already set to take place on September 7, with that also likely to be the date that Apple will announce when the iOS 16 update will be released to the public.
