Apple yesterday unveiled the new iPhone OS 4 in an event held at their 1-Infinite loop campus in Cupertino. Final version of iPhone 4 will be released for iPhone and iPod touch with the next-gen iPhone at WWDC this year. The biggest question here is that how well does this release of OS stands against Google’s ever-so gaining Android OS, and Redmond’s revamped Windows Phone 7.
Windows Phone 7 Series was the official name of the new upcoming mobile OS of Microsoft. It may have sounds catchy for some, but for many, it was tacky at best. HTC HD2 was a big success in the masses, majorly due to it’s multimedia features and it’s huge screen which provided the user with a rich multimedia experience, but unfortunately, it won’t get the Windows Phone 7 Series upgrade due to the strict hardware requirements of three buttons on the phone: Back, Windows and Search. The grail doesn’t end here, HTC’s CEO Peter Chou hinted on a phone which might probably be an HD3, and would hit the shelves in the end of this year – that’s exactly an year after HD2 shipped.

Simply double clicking on Xde.exe file wont start the emulator as it requires some command line parameters.
Dan Ardelean of Mobile Development blog has managed to unlock the full experience in the pre-released ROM of Windows Phone OS 7.0 which shipped earlier this week with the development tools for Windows Phone 7 Series. The original ROM as released by Microsoft only allowed access to the web browser (Internet Explorer) and “Settings” but with this hacked .BIN file, you can get access to entire Windows Phone 7 Series experience that Microsoft didn't want you to see.
Just stumbled upon these concept images of HTC HD3 and thought I should share it with you all. This one, unlike any previous leaks that we have seen looks closer to what could be the real deal come this fall, when Windows Phone 7 Series devices will finally roll out to the masses.
Folks over at XDA-Developers have dumped the Windows Phone 7 ROM Build 7.0.0.6077 off the PC Emulator software, which was released with dev tools at MIX10 yesterday. This marks the beginning of a long journey for XDA-devs to port this next-gen OS from Microsoft to the current-gen of Windows phone devices.
