Nokia Takes A Swipe At iPhone 5’s Camera In New Lumia 925 TV Ad [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·August 6, 2013
Nokia may still be struggling to sell its Lumia branded devices when compared with the huge numbers of iPhones Apple manages to shift, but that hasn't stopped the Finnish company from having a pop at its Cupertino rival in an advert for its newly-released Lumia 925. The ad focuses on, as you'd imagine, the Lumia's superiority in the camera department, and while the iPhone 5's snapper holds its own against most of the smartphone arena's most popular handsets, the Lumia 925 was always going to win this one.

Xbox One Smartphone Concept Is Jam Packed With Insane Features; We Wish It Was Real! [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·August 3, 2013
Microsoft's Xbox One will serve as one half of the next-gen games console battle, and while many fans of the powerful upcoming machine have been busily deciding which launch titles to select as the holiday release draws ever closer, the folks of T3 have instead been dreaming of a smartphone built with the new console in mind. Justifying its 'Xbox One smartphone' concept, T3 imagines a device born through lack of Windows Phone apps and CEO Steve Ballmer's "one Microsoft" mantra, and with a typically solid-looking Nokia build and a set of eye-watering features to match, we actually kind of wish this were a real product.

Ben Reid·July 28, 2013
For years, analysts, commentators and general tech fans have discussed the idea of Apple bringing a budget iPhone to the fore, but only this year does it finally appear as though such a device has a real chance of making its long-awaited debut. Talk has been particularly rife over the past three or four weeks, with several leaks of the supposed front and rear panels having surfaced throughout the blogosphere, and taking into consideration the current rumor and speculation, T3 has come up with a particularly beautiful 3D render.

Although iFixit has fried many a fish bigger than the USB dongle-sized device, we're still excited to see what Google has managed to squeeze within. Take a look for yourself after the break!

Oliver Haslam·July 20, 2013

Throw in those showing what people think next year's iPhone 6 may look like, and that's quite a few concept videos hitting our inbox on a weekly basis.

Here’s Why Ashton Kutcher Chose To Play Steve Jobs In Upcoming Flick

Ben Reid·July 16, 2013
The choice of Ashton Kutcher to play the role of Steve Jobs in the upcoming indie movie concerning the life of the late, great Apple co-founder was one which, at first, did raise one or two eyebrows. But having seen the teaser trailer and stills of Kutcher on the set as the man himself, the former Punk'd presenter actually makes for a convincing representation of the former Cupertino CEO, and now, Kutcher has spoken for the first time on why he chose the role.

Infographic: What’s Life Like Without iPhone Apps For 4 Days?

Ben Reid·July 11, 2013
A new study by Internet auction house eBay has drawn perhaps the least surprising conclusion on our mobile usage habits, discovering that we are, collectively, addicted to apps. Having challenged 200 iPhone users to go four whole days without their favorite mobile apps, eBay found that a whopping third of participants could not go the distance, while more than half were less happy without streamlined access to their content.

Microsoft Toyed With Some Questionable Names For Original Xbox, And They Were Awful!

Ben Reid·July 9, 2013
The Microsoft Xbox, which was shortened by the Redmond outfit from DirectX Box, is a relatively decent name for a flagship console. But things could have been oh so different, since Microsoft toyed with some pretty abominable monikers for its entertainment box before arriving at the eventual name.

Ashton Kutcher’s ‘Jobs’ Movie Gets Official Poster [IMAGE]

Ben Reid·July 3, 2013
Moviefone has just dropped a rather interesting new poster for the Steve Jobs-based movie starring Ashton Kutcher. Jobs, which is set to release worldwide on 16th of August, is greatly anticipated within tech circles, and never shy of a tagline or slogan himself, this poster of very first flick telling the story of the great man features one of its own. "Some see what's possible, others change what's possible" appears to be the take-home message from this most colorful of posters, which sees Kutcher made up as a very passable double to the late, great Apple co-founder.

Here’s What Some Popular iOS Apps May Look Like Post-iOS 7 Release [IMAGES]

Oliver Haslam·June 28, 2013
Apple's big move away from textures and 3D effects is well documented, and it feels like iOS 7 has dominated the news cycle for some time now. From rumor to a real shipping beta, the changes in visual design and user experience is something that has seen much discussion. While there's no doubt that Jony Ive's vision is very different to that of Scott Forstall's, it remains to be seen where the App Store's mass of developers will take their own apps once iOS 7 is closer to release.
