With Intel's Thunderbolt connector not exactly taking off as quickly as it would have liked, the company is apparently working on a new, standardized docking system which would give ultra-portable notebooks both a Thunderbolt and non-Thunderbolt connector to use, with the latter being reportedly used for things such as power and Ethernet connectivity.

He has been able run OS X Lion 10.7.2 on his Samsung Series 7 Slate, or as he calls it now: HacPro Touch. The catch is that an external monitor such as a TV is needed to run Lion successfully.

Turns out there an iTunes Dock setting for the Mac, hidden deep inside the new Lion OS. Once activated, the Dock will produce a pop-up notification of which iTunes track is currently playing. Although you can program Growl, a useful little utility, to show similar notifications, you may prefer having the native one found in Lion.
