Piano Passcode: Play Piano On iPhone Lock Screen To Unlock The Device [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·May 3, 2013
The jailbreak community has never failed to amaze us with the innovative and inventive tweaks that they manage to conjure up in their minds. Refreshing and filtering through Cydia inevitably brings up a wide variety of different types of packages and enhancements for jailbroken iOS devices, with some of the more popular tweaks proving to be those simple implementations that live directly on the lock screen of the phone. One of the latest to tackle the lock screen is the Piano Passcode offering and we have to say that it gets ten out of ten for originality.

Ben Reid·May 2, 2013

iOS 7 Team Working Overtime On ‘De-Forstallization’ So That The OS Ships On Time [Report]

Ben Reid·May 2, 2013
The Loop's Jim Dalrymple, famed for his "Yep" responses in corroboration of Apple rumors, has pulled off his trademark one-liner once more on the topic of the Cupertino company's iOS 7 shipping on schedule. Earlier today, it was revealed that Apple was having some difficulty readying the next major revision of its mobile operating system, and with sources of AllThingsD suggesting that Tim Cook's men are in an iPhone/Leopard situation (pulling developers away from OS X development to muck in with iPhone), Dalrymple's sources also seem to be singing a similar tune.

Jony Ive’s Visions For iOS 7 Includes ‘Dramatic’ Changes To Mail And Calendar Apps, Could Force Delays

Ben Reid·May 1, 2013
It's well documented that Jony Ive has transcended within Apple in terms of responsibility since Scott Forstall, the company's former Vice President of iOS Software, was rather unceremoniously ousted following the botched release of iOS 6. As well as being the lead designer of most of company's hardware, he has also assumed major responsibility for the iOS software, and although his visionary nature has led to many high-profile alterations with iOS 7, according to reports, and it's a move which could cause big delays and leave Apple behind, reports Bloomberg.

This Brand-New Camera Sensor Could Bring 1080p, 60fps Front-Facing Camera To The Next iPhone

Ben Reid·May 1, 2013
It's fair to say that, while the rear-facing cameras of mobile devices seem to be improving vastly with each year that goes by, the front-facing snappers are used sparingly due to their vast inferiority. In fact, video calling aside, you'd have to be pretty mad to take any snaps or record any clips using your smartphone or tablet's front shooter, but a brand-new sensor from Omnivision could see this trend well and truly bucked.

How To Enable Google Now Outside US On iPhone And iPad

Ben Reid·May 1, 2013
The Google Search app for iOS received the update to cap all updates a couple of days back when it was revealed that the company had integrated its Now service to users on the Apple operating system. As is typical with initial Google releases though, the new Google Now for iPhone feature was restricted to U.S. only, but as it does so very often, the jailbreak scene has popped up with a solution for those whose Google Now functionality was restricted.
