Square Enix – the creators behind the worlds most popular RPG game has released few screenshots of Final Fantasy from the iPhone version of the said game. The Appera site, which has got hold of these screenshots has confirmed that Final Fantasy 1 and 2 are both finally headed to the iPhone platform. Though the price and release date of the game is unconfirmed at the moment.
The developer of sn0wbreeze has released final teaser video of sn0wbreeze which shows off a new feature which will be included when the final version is released this Thursday. This feature enables jailbroken iPhone and iPod touch users to change their boot logos without having to wipe-out anything. This method is referred to as NOR-only IPSW flashing. Video after the jump.
Last week, HTC released a capacitive stylus for HTC HD2 which is specially designed for capacitive touch-screens like the ones found on iPhone, Nexus One and HD2. Folks over at BGR have got hold of exclusive list of features, which they have been told are confirmed to be a part of the upcoming iPhone 4.0 Firmware. Rockstar Studios has finally released the much awaited Grant Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars game for the iPhone platform. The game, which is already available for PSP and Nintendo DS has finally arrived for the iPhone and iPod touch. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars follows the story of Huang Lee, a young Triad who travels to Liberty City after the mysterious death of his father.
As we all know, Google Voice client app is currently not available for non-jailbroken iPhone users. Both GV Mobile and Voice Central clients for Google Voice were available earlier for a short period, but then they were soon removed by Apple from the App Store due to "duplicating features that the iPhone comes with (Dialer, SMS, etc)". Later, the developer Sean Kovacs brought GV Mobile to Cydia. Consequently, it is now available for jailbroken iPhone users (with GV accounts) for free.
An anonymous iPhone app developer has dropped a hint today to CNET, stating that he has submitted an updated version of his app for iPhone OS 4.0 to Apple App Store for approval. This hint surely indicated towards a possibility where Apple might have already sent out the said firmware to a selected pool of testers.

According to a new patent application filed by Apple Computer Inc., the new and upcoming iPhone OS could offer contact icons on the home screen. These icons can be used to invoke apps, retrieve and display contacts information, or can be modified to display related info, tied to an individual contact. Rumors regarding the next-generation iPhone keeps gaining the moment. A recent rumor from Bloomberg site claims that an analyst, named Robert Chen from Goldman Sachs Groups Inc. in an interview said that the next generation iPhone will feature a 5 megapixel camera, along with a touch sensitive Magic Mouse like shell on the back. Chen, however didn't cite his sources, neither did he cleared on how exactly is the touch sensitive casing on the back is going to be used or utilized.
