Ben Reid·September 20, 2013
Google's purchase of Quickoffice back in June last year raised more than a few eyebrows, but while the search giant has been somewhat busy with other projects over the past twelve or so months, today's announcement that Quickoffice will be free for both iOS and Android users will be music to ears of those looking to be productive on-the-fly. In a year that has seen Microsoft expand its own Office suite to iOS and Android, the Big G has now offering the Quickoffice service completely free, meaning consumers can actually edit Microsoft Office documents without having to pony up any money.

Ben Reid·September 19, 2013
Although us geeks (yes, I'm dragging you in, too) will be more than familiar with iOS 7 and its features and characteristics, most of the general population will be in for a shock when they begin to update their devices to the fruit company's latest and greatest firmware. Aesthetically, the differences is like day and night, and with this in mind, it stands to reason that many might feel a little bamboozled upon applying the update. As such, Apple has added the iOS 7 user guide to the iBookstore, which can be downloaded right now free of charge.

Reeder 2 For iOS Now Available: iOS 7 Ready, New UI And More

Paul Morris·September 12, 2013
The demise of Google Reader brought with it a fair amount of unhappy mojo within the technology industry. A number of extremely popular and favored RSS readers and apps were forced to withdraw their support for the service, which in some cases left the software in a position where it either needed to reinvent itself or simply fall into the RSS abyss. The next-generation of the Reeder app is now available on the App Store and it's better than ever in its post Google Reader state.
